News Notes

Turnout

Washtenaw County's unofficial results show 202,614 ballots cast, compared with 182,040 in 2022. The county reported 71.9% turnout, up from 56.47%, though differences in registered voter counts make the percentages hard to compare directly. County Clerk Larry Kestenbaum says absentee ballots went 60-40 against Proposal E, and that margin "sunk the Proposal." The Sun Times NewsWEMU
