- ➤ UMich Advocates and the LSA Student Government organized a petition that has gathered over 500 signatures and urges University of Michigan leaders to reinvest in diversity, equity, and inclusion programs after closing its DEI offices on March 27— the petition calls for reallocating resources to create a new unit modeled after UM-Flint’s Wolverine HOPE and for a meeting with the Board of Regents.
