Young Artists (Ages 8–10) Foundations

About this event

**Young Artists Foundations (Ages 8–11)**

Looking for a supportive art class where your child can build real skills while exploring creatively? Our small-group class at Art Works! Studio in Walled Lake is designed for young artists aged 8–11. Students will strengthen foundational art skills through drawing, painting, perspective, composition, color exploration, and mixed media projects using artist-quality materials.

In this calm and encouraging environment, children learn to slow down, observe carefully, and gain confidence in expressing their ideas visually. Led by artist and educator Sasha Roberts-Levi, the class accommodates various experience levels, learning styles, and creative interests, encouraging experimentation and personal artistic voice. Projects may include representational, abstract, imaginative, and mixed media artworks.

Please note: This class does not focus on anime, manga, or cartoon-style drawing. No prior art experience is needed, and all supplies are included. Families enrolling siblings can inquire about discount options.
