- ➤ DTE got approval from the Michigan Public Service Commission on Thursday to be the primary electricity provider for a 1.383 gigawatt data center in Saline Township for Oracle, OpenAI, and Related Digital — the 19-year contract is designed to protect customers and support local growth. FOX 2

- ➤ Local leaders met at Alpha House East on Dec. 10 to review HUD’s planned changes that would cut permanent housing funds from about 87 percent to 30 percent, potentially affecting hundreds of residents who rely on a program receiving $7.3 million a year. MLive
