- ➤ World Atlas named four towns in Washtenaw County—Ypsilanti, Chelsea, Dexter and Manchester—as some of Michigan's most underrated places to visit in 2025. The report highlighted Ypsi’s museums and historic sites, Chelsea’s arts and theater scene, Dexter’s outdoor fun along the Huron River, and Manchester’s popular Chicken Broil held on July 19. MLive
- ➤ Three children were adopted at Washtenaw County Courthouse on November 25—this marked the first Adoption Day since 2019—and families gathered for crafts, treats, and shared joy while raising awareness for foster care. Judge Arianne Slay oversaw the process and said every child should have a loving home. MLive
