- ➤ A new interactive map shows over 7,000 Washtenaw County properties, including many in Ypsilanti, with racist restrictions in their deeds from the early 1900s. The project and a repeal toolkit help owners learn about and remove these outdated rules—steps aimed at mending past harm. MLive
- ➤ Children in Washtenaw County will trick-or-treat on Oct. 31 as many towns set specific hours; Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti Township will have hours from 5 to 8 p.m. while Chelsea, Dexter, Northfield Township, Manchester, Milan, Pittsfield Township, and Saline offer hours from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m.—families should follow local guidelines.
