  • The Ypsilanti City Council will hold an in-person—virtual hybrid meeting on Tuesday, September 23rd at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, where the public may comment during a designated time; persons with disabilities must contact the City Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Monday for accommodations.  City of Ypsilanti
  • A former county road commission foreman, Anthony Karver, said he was fired in January after raising concerns about unpaid on-call hours+ he filed a federal lawsuit on September 2 alleging retaliation.  MLive

HEALTH NEWS

  • Michigan Medicine announced plans to open the Nathan and Catherine Forbes Sports Medicine Institute in Ann Arbor and it will offer advanced imaging, surgical care, rehabilitation and sports training for patients of all ages — joining its statewide network.  MLive
