- ➤ A football signed by 24 Heisman winners—including University of Michigan star Desmond Howard—will be auctioned online starting Sept. 1 and at an event on Sept. 11 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Revel Run in Chelsea to raise funds for hospice care for veterans. The auction is part of Arbor Hospice’s Barley, BBQ & Beats fundraiser that will offer food, music, and other bidding items. MLive
