Good morning, Ypsilanti.

Burlington Stores will open a new discount department store this fall at Carpenter Plaza, 3150 Carpenter Road in Pittsfield Township, and the official opening date is not yet set (the store will feature a refreshed layout for easier navigation).

Ypsilanti will hold a special election on November 4 (no other state or local offices are on the ballot) featuring the Washtenaw Intermediate School District Career Technical Education Millage proposal.

Residents may vote absentee, via early voting, or at their precinct (ballot applications for permanent absentee voters will be mailed by the last week of September).
