Hummingbird Construction Co.—a Milan-based company owned by Matthew Ashline—is facing a lawsuit in Washtenaw County after it took deposits as high as $162,000 but never started work or returned funds.

Dexter Community Schools will hold roughly 80-minute second-round interviews with two finalist superintendent candidates on July 21 — board members will select the final candidate the following day.
