- ➤ Thor Equities, a New York-based firm, proposed a $1 billion computer data center campus on 19 parcels totaling about 810 acres in Augusta Township that would rezone 522 acres from agricultural to industrial uses. Neighbors raised concerns about noise, water use, and environmental impacts at a May 28 public hearing, and the planning commission recommended denial while the township Board of Trustees will decide the proposal's fate — further details will come during the site plan review.
