- ➤ Kathlene Rodgers (known as Kiki) from Nie Family Funeral Homes in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti was elected as the youngest president of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association on May 27, making her the fifth woman to hold the role and to lead roughly 1,100 funeral directors statewide. MLive

- ➤ After Morez Johnson Jr. declared for the NBA draft, Coach Dusty May is reloading the Wolverines with returning point guard Elliot Cadeau and Trey McKenney—boosted by incoming transfers—to set up another title challenge for Michigan basketball. MLive
- ➤ Michigan announced kickoff times for its 2026 football season as it plans a home opener Sept 5 at 7:30 p.m. vs. Western Michigan, a game against Oklahoma next week at noon, and a Sept 19 meeting with UTEP on BTN. MLive
