- ➤ Michigan State Police said a suspected impaired 17-year-old driver lost control and rolled his 2018 Nissan Rogue early Sunday on northbound US-23 near Geddes in Ann Arbor Township, ejecting him and trapping a 16-year-old passenger who was freed and taken to a hospital—both are in critical condition. - ➤ Mi Rancho Boots, a new shop selling handmade Mexican cowboy boots and western wear, opened this week in downtown Ypsilanti on Michigan Avenue. Owner Ariel Arreola displayed his late grandfather Roberto's work hat as a tribute+ the shop offers boots made from various exotic leathers and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. MLive

- ➤ At 2:25 a.m. on May 25, a 52-year-old man from Warren walking unclothed on I-94 near the U.S. 12 bypass in Ypsilanti Township was struck by a black sedan that did not stop—troopers are now searching for its driver. MLive
