- ➤ FBI Director Kash Patel said authorities foiled a terrorist attack when 19-year-old Ammar Abdulmajid-Mohamed Said from Melvindale was arrested Tuesday after undercover agents uncovered his plan to target Warren’s Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command—he allegedly provided armor-piercing ammo and flew a drone for reconnaissance in support of ISIS. - ➤ MLive Media Group earned 37 awards including 11 first-place honors from the Society of Professional Journalists Detroit Excellence in Journalism Awards, with winners in community reporting & photography among other areas. The awards were handed out at a ceremony on May 14 in Troy. MLive
