- ➤ Dundee High School suspended its wrestling team after an email reported hazing, and the investigation is ongoing. One parent, whose daughter died by suicide after being bullied, has asked for school leaders to be replaced to address a wider bullying problem. FOX 2

- ➤ An influx of migrating warblers and Baltimore orioles will fly over Michigan in the next 48 hours as high pressure from the Gulf of Mexico moves north. BirdCast data shows more than 10,000 birds per kilometer per night—advising turning off unnecessary lights from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. to prevent collisions. FOX 2

- ➤ Eli Savit, the Washtenaw County prosecutor in his second term, announced on Tuesday that he is running for Michigan attorney general. He said his campaign will protect Michiganders from corporate polluters and shady businesses—voters will choose the new AG next year. FOX 2
- ➤ On May 7, the county board voted to spend $600K from the new Older Adults Millage to help seniors with food and housing needs—up to $500K will reimburse Food Gatherers for nutrition services while $100K will aid the Barrier Busters Senior Crisis Intervention Program, a one-time allocation to counter reduced federal support.
