- ➤ The Ann Arbor area Athlete of the Week poll ran May 4 to 9 and local sports fans cast votes for 20 nominees before 9 a.m. Friday; the winner was expected to be announced shortly after the poll closed. MLive
- ➤ Sophomore Elizabeth Onyskin of Saline was voted the top underclassman for spring sports in the Ann Arbor area, earning 27% of votes from over 4,000 ballots among 25 candidates. She posted a .466 average and 27 hits with 17 RBIs and 19 runs, raising the bar for her team. MLive
- ➤ The Lions will face the Bills on Thursday Night Football on Sept. 17 at the new Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park as part of Prime Video’s season kickoff, with the Bills hosting their first game in their new venue. MLive
