- ➤ The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation gala is Saturday night at Ann Arbor’s Crisler Center and is already sold out, featuring over 300 Michigan sports memorabilia items including signed basketballs with bidding closing at 9:30 p.m. ET to support research into a rare childhood brain tumor (DIPG). REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Pulte Homes of Michigan proposed Morgan Preserve, a 150-home project on 57 acres in Pittsfield Township south of Ann Arbor. The site awaits rezoning and preliminary approval after officials postponed voting to let the developer address concerns from Therapeutic Riding Inc.—construction will begin in 2027. MLive

- ➤ The MHSAA Representative Council approved changes that will expand playoff seeding in high school football for 2026 so every division’s eight teams will be seeded 1 to 8 by playoff points (split into two districts) and top teams will not meet until the regional final. MLive
- ➤ The Pistons will not change their game strategy after Donovan Mitchell questioned the referee calls on flopping during Game 1 — coach J.B. Bickerstaff said the team will play physical and treat flopping as a violation as they prepare for Game 2 in Detroit. MLive
