- ➤ Operation Ghost Rider is underway as unmarked police vehicles patrol Ypsilanti to catch distracted drivers during Distracted Driving Awareness Month. The statewide campaign aims to curb phone use behind the wheel by working with local police groups (and transport organizations) and will have marked vehicles pull over drivers. FOX 2

- ➤ The Pistons lost Game 4 to the Orlando Magic Monday, April 27 after struggling with turnovers; now they trail 3-1 and host Game 5 in Detroit Wednesday. Guard Cade Cunningham led with 25 points as mistakes cost them the win. MLive
- ➤ Skyline soccer player River Pham was voted Ann Arbor's top senior spring sports athlete for 2026 after earning over 60% of the votes. She built on last season's second-team all-state honors as she prepared for her final high school year. MLive
