🚨 Crime
Highland Township police charged 21-year-old Michael Webb with first-degree murder after he allegedly shot his fiancée, 23-year-old Rachel Wooten, at their home on April 15, leaving their six-month-old baby Aspen unharmed.
On April 23, local, state and federal agents raided homes in Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor and Canton linked to vandalism at U-M, seizing electronics and a car while several college activists were briefly detained as authorities said the raids focused solely on vandalism.
🏥 Health
Trinity IHA doctor Robert Breakey explained that lifestyle medicine includes six pillars — healthy eating, regular exercise, stress management, proper sleep, avoiding risky substances and social connectedness — which may help prevent issues like heart disease and diabetes.
He noted that even small changes, such as eating a plant-based meal once a week, can gradually improve overall health.
