➤ Forbes named the University of Michigan a New Ivy on Wednesday, April 8, for its efforts in AI education (the ranking acknowledges a new MBA concentration, selective admissions, and high survey ratings from hiring executives). MLive
➤ Avery Cloutier, a 19-year-old from Lowell, will earn his master of applied data science from University of Michigan this spring — he started earning college credits at age 12 through CLEP and studied at six institutions, and he plans to join the U.S. Navy as an intelligence officer after graduation.
