- ➤ Wenceel Perez returned to the Tigers on Friday after Parker Meadows was placed on the injured list following a collision, having hit two home runs in the final exhibition game and shown strong performance in Triple-A. MLive
- ➤ Michigan's hockey team lost 4-3 to Denver in double overtime during the Frozen Four semifinal on Thursday, Apr. 9 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, leaving the team with a 1-9 semifinal record since 1998. The Wolverines said they played better but the loss shows hockey can be unpredictable. MLive
- ➤ Following their national championship, Michigan basketball coach Dusty May + his staff opened the transfer portal by adding Tennessee’s J.P. Estrella and scouting prospects like Wake Forest’s Juke Harris to reshape the roster for next season. MLive
- ➤ David Barrett — a longtime Ann Arbor resident and composer of One Shining Moment — watched Michigan clinch the NCAA basketball title on Monday, April 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium as players paused to view his tribute on a giant screen. MLive
