- ➤ About 70 soldiers from the 1171st Medical Company and 100 from the 238th Aviation Regiment returned home after year-long overseas deployments to Kosovo and the Middle East — their missions supported U.S. operations and international peacekeeping efforts while families celebrated their homecoming in Ypsilanti and Grand Ledge. - ➤ Ypsilanti Community High School will host the third annual Black Maternal Health Café on Saturday, April 11 from noon to 4 p.m. at 2095 Packard St. The event (open to everyone) will address perinatal mental health and cardiovascular risks in pregnancy with keynote remarks, resource tables, music, and family activities.
