- ➤ On March 27, fire crews arrived shortly before 9 a.m. at a home on the 400 block of East Cross Street after a towel on a space heater ignited in an upstairs bedroom, critically injuring a man and displacing three others while causing about $130,000 in damage. MLive
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Paul and Christy Akeo spent a month in a maximum security prison in Mexico after being jailed over a timeshare dispute and returned home on April 3 with help from Congressman Tom Barrett— the couple said they were sent directly to prison and claimed they owed nothing for the property. FOX 2
