- ➤ Tuesday night, Ypsilanti Township leaders approved plans to replace the playground equipment at Appleridge Park on East Clark Rd (near Ridge Rd) as part of planned repairs and improvements at local parks. MLive

- ➤ Bill’s Drive-In, a small yellow drive-in on Michigan Ave, brews its original root beer fresh each morning and serves classic coneys with cash only. They also offer floats for a fun treat on warmer days—bringing a retro feel to town. MLive
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Five years ago, Gov. Whitmer closed schools to slow COVID and that step led many Michigan parents to become active in school support. They now attend meetings and watch school safety and teaching practices closely—actions sparked during the pandemic. MLive

- ➤ Ypsilanti leaders approved $295k to fund engineering services and final design for the Cross Street bridge—at Depot Town—Tuesday night. MLive
- ➤ Ypsilanti leaders are moving forward with road work on Harriet Street to slow traffic near the community center and preschool—this project follows residents' calls for safer streets and builds on a separate reconstruction effort on the street’s west side. MLive
