Last week, the University of Michigan closed its Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, its Office for Health Equity and Inclusion and ended its DEI 2.0 Strategic Plan.

State lawmakers including Rep. Amos O’Neal and Senator Sarah Anthony condemned the move—saying it will hurt underrepresented students and waste taxpayer funds.
