- ➤ Kent Syverud, the former Syracuse chancellor, will become the new University of Michigan president on May 11 — he will replace interim president Domenico Grasso, whose term ends May 8, while Provost Laurie McCauley will serve as acting president on May 9 and 10. MLive
- ➤ Eastern Michigan University offers a career closet that provides free, donated suits to help students dress professionally for interviews and events (Raiden Francisco used the closet recently to prepare for a tournament in Nashville).
