Good morning, Ypsilanti.

The University of Michigan Board of Regents will review the tentative academic calendar at a meeting on March 20 at University Hall — if approved, fall classes will begin on August 25 with key dates set for winter, spring, and summer terms.

Arbor One Apartments in Ypsilanti was condemned on March 18 after tenants reported long-term unsafe conditions, including mold, leaky plumbing and roaches (forcing many residents to vacate their units).

One resident moved his 70-year-old mother to a different unit two days ago and said tenants have taken legal action against the owner (citing ongoing issues from sewage problems to a lack of central air).
