- ➤ UM students teach ballet and literacy to 3-to-5-year-olds at Beatty Early Learning Center (1661 Leforge Road) in Ypsilanti for eight Fridays each semester. The program, launched in fall 2023, offers community kids a mix of dance and reading activities while student volunteers earn course credits. MLive
