- ➤ Local tenant advocates reached out at a Tuesday info session to help residents in the condemned Arbor One apartments decide by Friday, Jan. 9 whether to relocate for a $3,500 payout or remain in one of two certified buildings for a $1,000 relocation benefit. MLive
- ➤ Hamburg Family Fun Fest will attempt the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Superman at 1 p.m. Friday, June 19 at Manly W. Bennett Memorial Park (10405 Merrill Rd, Whitmore Lake) as community members join the event. MLive

- ➤ On Jan. 7, Siena Heights University announced a Phoenix Committee to seek proposals for the campus' future use after the school closes in June. The 12-member group, including Adrian Dominican Sisters & local community members, has hired a nonprofit real estate consultant and plans a site visit soon. MLive

- ➤ Trinity Health Ann Arbor performed Michigan’s first implant of an ultra-thin defibrillation lead on Jan. 7 by guiding it via a catheter. The FDA-approved device improves heart rhythm treatments + lowers complication risks, marking an important milestone in local care. MLive
