About this event
Drop in and learn chess at the library with Jenny Skidmore-Smith! Designed for youth grades K-12 and their families. If you're new to chess, you can learn using our Dinosaur Chess app, or play with a teen voluneer. Chess Club provides youth the chance to play with others to improve their skills. Jenny offers occasional formal instruction, puzzles to take home, and monthly play with clocks. Regular attendees qualify for a free US Chess membership and will be rated at the tournament in April, thanks to the Toyota Foundation's support of Project STEM @ YDL. Sign up for the mailing list or get more information at ypsilibrary.org/chess. Event Details Date
